# WordPress, made for your team.

dirango is a custom WordPress development agency for nonprofits, public agencies, and B2B teams. We build custom themes, reusable blocks, and content structures that let your editors publish without rebuilding the page every time.

## A site your team can run

A program directory needs different fields from a news article. An event may need a date, a location, and a registration link. We build those differences into WordPress so editors can add content without designing a page from scratch.

- ### Content structure

Define custom post types, taxonomies, and relationships for content such as programs, locations, staff, and events. A shared address should be edited once and appear wherever it is used.

- ### Publishing patterns

Build reusable blocks and page patterns for common publishing tasks. Editors get useful choices and clear fields, while layout rules protect the design from accidental changes.

- ### Custom WordPress development

Develop custom themes, templates, and plugins where the project needs them. Connect forms and external systems, and test the actual visitor tasks across screen sizes and keyboard interactions.

- ### Content and launch planning

Inventory existing URLs, map redirects, move approved content, and check forms and analytics before launch. Your team gets a review site and a clear list of content and approval decisions.

## From requirements to a working site

We need to understand how visitors use the site and how your team updates it. Both affect what we build.

1. ### Review the current site

Look at the pages, forms, integrations, and publishing tasks you have now. Identify what works, what gets in the way, and what must be preserved.

2. ### Plan the structure

Decide which content needs its own fields and templates, how it connects, and where visitors will find it. Agree on the custom development the project needs.

3. ### Design and build

Use real content to design and build the templates. Your team reviews the pages and tries the editing tools while there is still time to change them.

4. ### Test and hand over

Test the forms and important visitor tasks, check the content and redirects, and show your team how to publish. Agree on who handles updates after launch.

## Support after launch

We can continue with WordPress updates, publishing help, accessibility fixes, and new development. The support agreement separates routine maintenance from new features so you know what is included.

We'll agree on how much development time is available, how changes are reviewed, and who approves a release. You get a record of completed work and the requests still on the list.

If your own team or another developer will maintain the site, we'll plan the handoff with them.

## See how we build it.

We built a demo that connects programs, locations, and events. You can see the editor screens, read the plugin code, and follow the tests for the relationships between them.

## Questions about WordPress development

Can you work on our existing WordPress site?

Yes. Send us the site and what you want to change. We'll review the theme, plugins, and current setup before recommending work.

Will our team be able to update the site?

Yes. We build the editing tools around the content you publish. Your team can try the templates and blocks during development, and we walk through common updates before handoff.

What is included in a custom WordPress project?

It depends on the site. A project can include content structure, design, custom themes and blocks, integrations, migration, accessibility work, and launch support. The proposal lists what is included and what your team needs to provide.

Can support continue after launch?

Yes. We offer ongoing maintenance and development, including content help and accessibility fixes. We agree on the monthly work and capacity before support begins.
