# Prepare a project brief with dirango

Use `lookup_services` to find an existing service that matches the person's platform and goals. Base recommendations on the returned service topics and public work links. Do not add outcomes, prices, or promises that the returned information does not support.

Use `prepare_project_brief` only with goals and choices the person supplied. The tool validates and formats a draft; it does not save or submit anything. It returns the fields still needed for the existing form.

Send the person to [the Contact project brief](https://dirango.com/contact/#project-brief-form) to review or edit the draft. The person enters their own contact details and consent, reviews the completed brief, and chooses whether to send it. Never claim that preparing a brief delivered an inquiry.
